Big Story: Two Council Members Claim Success, 1,000 Residents Disagree

In recent communication from our 1st Ward and 2nd Ward City Council members, Drs. Rosensweig & Wisotsky, we are told:

“In 2023, the city successfully completed "Round 3" of the state's affordable housing requirement without affecting the character of the town or putting any strain on our existing resources”

The Residents of Englewood disagree! Nearly 1,000 residents volunteered in taking an independent survey citywide and overwhelmingly rejected the redevelopment plan:

And Drs. Rosensweig & Wisotsky call this “successful completion without affecting the character of the town…”  We say prove it. Show us your facts, show us the plan and support the facts with evidence that apartment buildings will not be built in the backyard of our homes, next to our schools, or in FEMA flood zones.

Englewood One Community has filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court of New Jersey to halt this threat to our way of life.
